Epoxy RC

Rollcoat Epoxy Flooring System

System Build-Up

The system requires a prepared concrete subfloor that has been shot-blasted or diamond ground and moisture tested.
The primer layer consists of Europox Z Slow or Europox OS.
The optional broadcast layer consists of 0.1–0.3 mm quartz sand for slip resistance.
The Europox SRL roll-applied epoxy serves as the casting layer of the system.
The system includes three finish options which are clear gloss finish and satin finish and matt finish.

Technical Details

The system achieves a thickness range of 0.5–1.0 mm.
The compressive strength of this system exceeds 55 N/mm².
The system achieves flexural strength values above 25 N/mm².
The system demonstrates more than 1.5 N/mm² of adhesion strength when tested against concrete substrates.
The Shore D Hardness rating of this material ranges between 70 and 75.
The Taber Test shows that the system experiences less than 120 mg of material loss during 1000 cycles.
The system demonstrates resistance to oils and fuels and salts and cleaning agents and other chemicals.
The system operates within temperature ranges from +50 °C dry load to +35 °C wet load.
The curing process requires:
The surface becomes ready for light foot traffic after 24 hours.
The system needs 3–5 days to reach full mechanical load capacity.
The system reaches complete chemical resistance after 7 days of curing.

Key Properties

The system consists of a thin epoxy coating that protects medium-duty areas at an affordable price.
The system provides a single continuous surface without any visible joints.
The system provides an optional slip-resistant surface when quartz broadcast is applied.
The system shows resistance to oil and fuel and standard chemical substances.
The surface maintains simplicity for cleaning operations and requires minimal maintenance.
